In 2003, he founded Medwave Optique (MWO), a company active in the high technology field. In 2005, he was recipient of a Young Entrepreneurs Award in recognition of his entrepreneurial spirit. Mario Séguin est un spécialiste des communications unifiées et de la Téléprésence pour les PME. Il a travaillé plusieurs années pour une grande entreprise dans le domaine des télécommunications. En 2003, il a fondé Medwave Optique (MWO ), une société qui œuvre dans le domaine des hautes technologies.
